Easy & fast bee sting cake

This recipe i got today is an easy version of the bee sting cake. It's not the traditional recipe you might find on the internet but if you're craving for a bee sting cake on a sunday afternoon like me ;) and you want it to be done fast than you might like this recipe.

Ingredients

for the dough

3 eggs
1/2 a glass of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
1 Tbsp of vanilla sugar
1 Tbsp of water
1 glass of flour

for the filling

1 package of pudding-creme with vanilla flavour
250 ml. of milk

for garnishing

sliced almonds
honey

Mix the eggs with the sugar. Add the remaining ingredients & mix again. Oil your form cake form & pour your batter in. I used sunflower oil but make sure not to use too much oil like i did ;)

Sprinkle as much sliced almonds as you prefer. Bake at 200 ° C (about 400 degrees F) in the medium rack for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely & than slice it into 2 pieces (look at picture). The baked cake will sink a little bit so if you don't want that add a little bit of baking soda into the cake mixture before you pour it into the cake form.

Now for the filling i used a pudding-creme with vanilla flavour (not like the normal pudding-creme, this one is especially for bee sting cake) & stirred it with the milk like the description says. It was so easy & fast. But if you can't find pudding-creme just be creativ. You can use normal pudding and mix it with whipped cream for example. Spread the pudding mixture on the bottom part of the cake & put the upper part of the cake on top of it. Add the honey on top as a final touch & just set it in the fridge for about 1 hour before you serve it.
