Creme tangerine cake for the 18th

Yesterday was my sisters birthday. Happy 18th ❤. So she invited some of her best friends to spend time with them. And for her 18th she made this cake for herself. This is a perfect recipe for those who doesn't like cakes that are to sweet. So here is the recipe.

Ingredients

for the actual cake mixture

150 gr. melted margarine
200 gr. granulated sugar
4 eggs
300 gr. flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder  or about 15 gr. of it

for the creme/garnish

600 gr. of  schmand (sour creme should do the trick)
530 gr. of canned tangerines
2 packages of dr. oetker vanilla pudding powder
2 packages of dr. oetker red glaze

Start by mixing the melted margarine & the sugar together until the sugar is dissolved. Add the eggs & mix again. Sift the baking powder & the flour to the mixture & mix again.

Grease your cake pan, fill your cake mixture into it & bake at about 150 °C (about 300 °F). Don't bake it too much cause we'll bake it again. Till the cake is baking we're going to make the creme mixture.

Prepare the vanilla pudding powder like the descriptions tells you. Take it out of the oven & add the schmand to it. Pour the creme mixture on top of the baked cake & bake again at 100 °C (about 220°F) for 20 minutes.

Let the cake cool completely. Now decorate it with the tangerines. Read the description on the glaze & prepare it before you pour it on to the decorated cake.

Bon Appetite
